Flex Friday!!

It’s here, yey Friday and cheers to the weekend! 🙂 I know for us the weekend is when most of our social activities occur. Whether its gathering with family, getting together with friends, or catching up on our date nights, it most always starts on Friday!

With most social activity being centered around food of some sort or included in the evening plans, I just wanted to give you a few things to keep in mind this weekend.

Keep in mind all of the hard work you put into your workouts during the week. Remember the day you sat down dizzy feeling like you were going to puke bc you gave it your all?! Yeah, that one! Don’t blow it on a couple days of bad eating. I know it’s easy in social settings to share the appetizers etc, but be cautious of what you are eating and how much.

I’m not saying you have to keep it 100% clean, but be smart and keep everything in moderation. If I feel like I want a bad dessert, I mean really bad, something way different from my weekly diet regimen of clean eating, I will make sure I go with a healthy choice for my entree almost always Salmon, vegetables, and rice or sweet potato. This goes the same for cocktails, it’s a trade out. One or the other. 😉

Some can do both bc they’re stronger in their mindset for their training and meals during the week. Others are still making baby steps and a little setback of feeling like they blew the week with their weekend eating, can discourage them and cause them to give up and not return AT ALL to the their routine the following week.

If by some chance that happens, do not give up!! Get back in there and give it your all the next week. Be mindful about the upcoming weekend and try not to have a repeat of the binge eating like the weekend before. Don’t beat yourself up. The road to success is paved with failure! Brush yourself off and start again!

I love my weekend workouts, they are my favorite!! Most of the time the gym is empty, I am in no hurry, and it is my own little happy place! (Sometimes I even share it with Josh) sometimes… 😉
If your off days are on the weekend then make sure to stay active, take it outdoors! Stay active! Lots of fall things to do in this Arkansas gorgeous fall weather! Helps feel better about your cheats and treats from Friday night! Be blessed friends, and Happy Weekend!!
